Santa Claus, Indiana has been the home to screaming and splashing for many years, but this weekend it will house a new attraction. Holiday World will host the first “Rock the World” all-day Christian music festival.
“Rock the World” is the first festival of this magnitude Holiday World has organized. According to a spokesperson, Holiday World has received many requests over the years for this type of event. Holiday World is known for listening to and accommodating their customers, and this festival is just one more example. True, they’re not the first theme park to host a Christian music festival, but where else can you get free drinks and sunscreen?
The performers for “Rock the World” include everyone from regional bands (hailing from Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee) to Grammy-nominated Jeremy Camp, Dove award-winning Tenth Avenue North, BarlowGirl, and Heart of Saints.
In true Holiday World fashion, the festival and park admission are combined at one low price. The festival is an all-day event held on Saturday, August 25th. Tickets, schedules, and more information can be found at www.holidayworld.com/rocktheworld.
If you’re looking for a weekend full of screaming, splashing, and singing, “Rock the World” is for you!
