A beautiful actress is dead, and the audience must find out why in Whodunnit Murder Mystery Theatre's Murder in Hollywood: The Case of the Boa Constrictor, which opens tomorrow.
Performances of Murder in Hollywood will take place on each Saturday from May 14-June 25 at 7 p.m. each night. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. All shows are to take place at the Hyatt Regency, located at 320 West Jefferson Street
in downtown Louisville.
Tickets for each show, which includes dinner, are $43.95 per person. Dinner options include chicken piccata, grilled salmon, or spring vegetable risotto.
Although the May 14 show is sold out, reservations for all other shows can be made by calling Whodunnit at 502-426-7100. Reservations are highly recommended as many Whodunnit shows have sold out prior to each performance.
Murder in Hollywood: The Case of the Boa Constrictor
finds its murder scene in a producer's mansion during the golden age of Hollywood. The beautiful and talented actress Sandra Townsend has mysteriously been killed, and those in attendance must figure out who did it.
The suspects will begin in scripted performance, where clues and the murder will take place. Afterwards, the suspects will move through the audience. Audience members, in an attempt to gather more clues, can ask the suspects anything related to the case. In response, the suspects will answer truthfully or evade the question.
Cast members for Murder in Hollywood include Penny Brill, Peter Allen Clark, Erica Goldsmith, A.J. Green, John Lina, Jeff McQueen, and Makayla Staudenheimer. Jane Mattingly directed the production. Teresa Wentzel wrote the production and served as assistant director.
