Creative? Looking for a new craft? The New Albany-Floyd County Public Library is sponsoring Hooked on Rugs!! from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on September 17th in the Library’s Strassweg Auditorium. Hooked on Rugs !! is sure to inspire the creative side of adults and teens. Jyl Clark, owner of Cat House Rugs, will be on hand to demonstrate and teach basic rug hooking. Even those who consider themselves “all thumbs” can be successful and find pleasure in this craft and become “hooked on hooking” rugs. Rug hooking provides the pleasure of possessing one-of-a-kind rugs that add distinction to a home, as well as affording the opportunity to create an heirloom for the future.
