Marine Corps Veteran and Personal Trainer Sarah Ayers Helps Keep Louisville Fit by Offering Female-Only Morning Boot Camp,
As fall quickly approaches along with rich holiday foods, why not get proactive with a little pre-season workout? Starting on Monday, Aug. 30, join Marine Corps veteran and certified personal trainer Sarah Ayers for a session of one of her popular boot camps and/or TRX and Kettlebell class! Each class is four weeks long and will take place on the Great Lawn at the downtown Waterfront Park. “We’ve all heard that exercising makes people happier and healthier but despite this promise, it’s still difficult for many people to find the motivation to get started,” said Ayers. “By joining one of my fitness classes, attendees will not only have me there to support them throughout the workout but also their peers.”

Female-Only Boot Camp
From Monday, Aug. 30 through Friday, Oct. 1, join Ayers every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning from 6 to 7 a.m. for the ultimate female workout. Designed for women of all ages and fitness levels, the boot camp will teach attendees how to physically and mentally push themselves further than ever before through various cardiovascular, strength and flexibility exercises. Incorporating weight training and beneficial yoga techniques into each workout, each class is completely unique and created to give campers a total-body workout that is both safe and effective. Held on the Great Lawn at downtown Waterfront Park, the cost is $150 per person.
Coed Evening Boot Camp
From Tuesday, Aug. 31 through Thursday, Sept. 30, Ayers will also lead an evening session of her popular boot camp series. Held on the Great Lawn at downtown Waterfront Park from 6 to 7 p.m., the cost is $100 per person.
TRX and Kettlebell Class
From Tuesday, Aug. 31 through Thursday, Sept. 30, join Ayers every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 6 to 7 a.m. for her high-intensity TRX and Kettlebell Class. Combining workout systems designed by the U.S. Navy Seals (TRX) and the Russian military (Kettlebells) into one hard-core workout, this is a class for those serious about improving their strength. Don’t be intimidated though - each class allows participants to work at their own pace, utilizing their own body weight to help build strength, flexibility and balance. Held on the Great Lawn at downtown Waterfront Park, the cost is $120 per person.
Inner Strength Fitness is designed for participants of all sizes and ages. Led by yoga teacher and seven year Marine Corps Veteran Sarah Ayers, participants will learn how to push themselves both physically and mentally using various cardiovascular, weight training and yoga techniques.
