You know how Thanksgiving is a lot of work and kinda stressful? And how, every year, you get into an argument with your brother, Fred, about Team Edward vs. Team Jacob? How your Aunt Rita always has too much whiskey and tries to make off with some of your silver? How your children invariably get into a slap-fight over the last dinner roll? Or how your grandfather calls young people “hippie-dippy lazypants”, complains that the stuffing is too stuffing-y, and falls asleep at the table with his face on his plate, then yells at whoever wakes him up because he “was just enjoying his cranberries like the rest of you socialists”? Or how your vegan-activist sister always switches out the turkey for a block of tofu with some fluffy craft feathers stuck in it when you leave the kitchen, then behaves as if she has NO IDEA how it got there when you undoubtedly notice? Oh, you don’t? ... me neither. ANYWAY, The Brown Hotel will be hosting an elegant Thanksgiving dinner this year as an easy and delicious option for Turkey Day, which is great if you have a perfect family like mine who should absolutely be brought out in public together. You can’t prevent ridiculous arguments, but you CAN opt to not spend the day in the kitchen!

On Thanksgiving Day, November 22nd, The English Grill will be offering a seated dinner with an appetizer buffet, a choice of seasonal entrées, and a dessert display. J. Graham’s Café will also be hosting a casual buffet-style dinner of all the things you love about the classic meal with some tempting twists.
