Kentucky Homefront presents live broadcasts of acoustic folk, traditional, blues, country, and bluegrass music, and its best storytellers in a front porch setting at the Clifton Center's . The program is hosted by John Gage and recorded before a live audience on the 2nd Saturday of each month (minus January and July). Shows are then aired at a later date on WFPK 91.9.
Kentucky Homefront has a new special $5 ticket price for students. Junior, senior, and college students (must show student ID) are encouraged to come! The Kentucky Homefront features many great musicians and would love get more young people in the seats at the Clifton Center. This student rate starts immediately.
The next show is this Saturday, March 9th. Doors open at 7pm with the broadcast starting at 7:30pm. Get out your dancing shoes because Four Shillings Short and Robert Tincher will be playing some Irish music! Merchandise, artist 'meet & greet,' and concessions available at intermission.
