Laugh and help fight cancer

God of Carnage

Get ready to help people and laugh at a conversation becoming much, much less in God of Carnage, which Kids Acting Against Cancer will present this weekend.

God of Carnage performances are to happen on Apr. 12 and 13 at 8 p.m. each night and Apr. 14 at 2 p.m.  All performances will take place in the Mex Theater at the Kentucky Center for the Arts, located at 501 West Main Street in downtown Louisville.

Tickets for each  90-minute show are $16 per person.  All tickets can be purchased at the Kentucky Center box office, the Kentucky Center website, or by calling the box office at 800-775-7777.  Keep in mind that the show contains adult language.

God of Carnage is a comedy that should feature two sets of parents calmly talking about their kids' playground incident.  However, as the day goes on and the conversation gets heated, the parents in essence become children in their handling of the incident and each other.

While laughing at the deterioration of the situation, laugh knowing that the proceeds from the show will help the hematology and oncology clinic at Kosair as well as Gilda's Club.  Kids Acting Against Cancer will also accept donations.
