Little Colonel Playhouse will present its final show of the season, Social Security, starting on Thursday.

Social Security performances will go on May 12, 13, 14, 20, and 21 at 8 p.m. each night.  Matinees, meanwhile, will go on May 15 and 22 at 2:30 p.m. each day.  All performances will go on at the Little Colonel Playhouse, located at 302 Mt. Mercy Drive in Pewee Valley, KY.

Tickets for each show are $15 for adults, $12 for students, and $12 for seniors 60 years of age and over.  All tickets can be purchased at the door or reserved by calling 502-588-1557.  A dinner theatre format will be available opening night for an extra $18 per person.  More information on the show can be found at the Little Colonel Playhouse website.

Social Security, a comedy, centers on an art dealer couple's family, which consists of a CPA, an Archetypal Jewish Mother, and a goody goody sister. All three attempt to keep their daughter from living just for lovemaking.

Rick Reinle directed Social Security, which Andrew Bergman created.

Little Colonel Pjayhouse will next present a children's program and a high school/college program for the summer. More information on both can be found at the Little Colonel Playhouse website.
