Spend the day after Thanksgiving exploring our region’s heritage at Historic Locust Grove. We are open our regular hours, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and have a brand new gallery, “A Country Worth Defending-Land and Family in Early Kentucky,” to tour.
Costumed demonstrators will be in the kitchen and woodshop from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. to further your knowledge of times past. In the museum store local author Lisa Dougherty will be signing copies of her new book, “Louisville Architectural Tours,” from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m
You can even start your holiday shopping as the museum store will have a 20% discount beginning November 28th through December 6th. You’ll discover jewelry, children’s toys, a great selection of local interest books, stationery & more.
