The Bad Actors Club at Alley Theater is set to present The Looking Glass Wars, which will open tonight.

The Looking Glass Wars will have performances on Dec. 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, and 18 at 8 p.m. each night.  All performances will happen at the Alley Theater/Art Sanctuary space, located in The Pointe at 1205 E. Washington Street near downtown Louisville.

Tickets for the show are $16 in advance and $18 day of show for adults. Student tickets are $15 in advance and $16 day of show.  Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at the Alley Theater website.

The Looking Glass Wars is based on Frank Beddor's books, which in turn were based on a new version of events that took place in Louis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland books.  Alyss Heart, who is in line for the Wonderland throne, is lost following a coup.

In London, she tells her story to an author who ends up writing the story as Alice in Wonderland.  However, Alyss sees the author got it wrong.  On top of that, there's no telling if she can get back to Wonderland and reclaim the throne.

Todd Zeigler and The Bad Actors Club adapted the story, and Scott Davis directed it.  The cast includes Hallie Kirk as Alyss Heart, Kenn Parks as Hatter Madigan, Bridgette Witzke as The Red Queen, and Tony Smith as The Cat.

Following Looking Glass Wars, Alley Theater will present Point Break Live. That show will run in January.
