During a time of crisis, war, and awakening, college-aged women seek liberation in Class of '70, which Looking for Lilith will present this week.

Class of '70 performances are to happen Nov. 7-9 and 14-16 at 7:30 p.m. each night. All performances are to take place at the Lincoln Performing Arts School, located at 930 E. Main Street near NuLu.

Tickets for each show are $18 for adults, $15 for students, and $15 for seniors. All tickets can be purchased at the door.

Class of '70 is a Looking for Lilith original production that focuses on the liberation of women during a time of crisis, war, and personal awakenings not too far removed from recent times. Women shared their humorous, heartbreaking, and thought-provoking stories of their college years during the late 60's/early 70s when many sought personal, social, and political change.

Looking for Lilith, inspired by the storytelling and the conscious-raising groups of the era, created the production based on those stories. The premiere of Class of '70 in 2004 led to largely positive reviews and calls to revive the production.

The 2013 version will feature Laura Ellis, Trina Fischer, Ebony Jordan, Jennifer Thalman Kepler, Karole Spangler, and Chelsea Skalski. Shannon Woolley Allison directed Class of '70.

More information on the show and the Looking for Lilith Theatre Company can be found at its website.
