Sure, it's still a little warm outside, but at Derby Dinner, it's beginning to look a lot like White Christmas.  Derby Dinner will present the show beginning today.

White Christmas will take place on various days between Nov. 20 and Dec. 31.  Evening shows will begin at 7:45 p.m. with buffet beginning at 6 p.m.  Sunday matinees are to happen at 1:30 p.m. with buffet starting at 11:45 a.m.  Finally, Wednesday matinees will take place at 1 p.m. with buffet taking place at 11:45 a.m.  All performances are to occur at Derby Dinner Playhouse, located at 525 Marriott Drive in Clarksville, IN.

Tickets for each show depend on the day.  Tickets for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday evening shows are $40 per person, Friday evening shows are $41, Saturday evenings are $44, Sunday matinees are $36, and Wednesday matinees are $35 per person.  All tickets can be purchased at the Derby Dinner box office, the Derby Dinner Playhouse website, or by calling Derby Dinner at 812-288-2636.  More information on White Christmas can also be found at the Derby Dinner Playhouse website.

Irving Berlin's White Christmas features two Army buddies in the 1940s.  After the war, the duo becomes a hit in nightclubs and Broadway.  Bob and Phil then become producers, enlist a couple of ladies into a show, and wind up in Vermont trying to save a former commanding officer's ski lodge.

Derby Dinner's production will feature the classic songs from the musical, including Happy Holiday, I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm, and the title song, which remains one of the most popular singles in music history.

For Derby Dinner, Brian Bowman will perform as Bob Wallace, Matthew Brennan is Phil Davis, Sarah Ann Koster is Betty Haynes, and Julie Evins is Judy Haynes.  Lee Buckholz directed the production with Heather Paige Folsom providing choreography, and Scott Bradley serving as musical director.

During White Christmas's run, Derby Dinner will also present A Fairy Tale Christmas, a children's holiday show.  That show opens on Saturday.
