Come out to the Louisville Nature Center tomorrow, Saturday, and bulk up your garden at the Fall Native Plant Sale. The time is nigh to dote on the Fall garden!
The Fall Native Plant Sale begins at 9am and lasts until 3pm this Saturday, Sept. 10th. All sorts of native plants will be available and the tentative list may be found here. Make sure to arrive early if your heart is set on purchasing a specific plant, because the popular varieties disappear fast. Fall plant expert, Margaret Shea of Dropseed Nursery will be present to answer questions and aid in your selection of plants.
All money made from the Fall Plant Sale is lumped in with the Louisville Nature Center's Annual Donation Drive. Contributions aid in the safety, educational, and general upkeep of the Louisville Nature Center and its mission.
While you're at the Louisville Nature Center, check out the trails. They're inviting from sunrise to sunset.
