  • "Kentucky Agriculture commissioner Richie Farmer said Monday a run for Kentucky Governor is ‘Certainly a very real possibility.’  Farmer along with several other state officials accompanied Governor Steve Beshear for a bill signing at the Kentucky Horse Park." Not too surprising given the amount of advertising the Kentucky Department of Agriculture did on UK games this season. [WFPL]
  • "The Jeffersonville police union asked for a 4 percent raise for officers in each of the next two years in negotiations Monday with the City Council." Apparently the crime in Jeffersonville hasn't been so bad cops haven't had time to notice the economy's bad. [Courier-Journal]
  • "The Transit Authority of River City began its round of route and service cuts today, which it were originally announced in February to help fill a projected $5.5 million revenue shortfall. The four routes serving Bashford Manor, Hurstbourne Parkway, Indian Trail and River Road were eliminated and there were service reductions to 20 others." [LEO Weekly]
  • "A Panera Bread café is proposed at 1801 Rudy Lane in the retail center that replaced the Brownsboro Inn, at Rudy and Brownsboro Road." [Courier-Journal]
