  • "A Kentucky park ranger has sued the state and a former cook at a Barren River Lake State Resort Park restaurant, alleging the cook contaminated food in acts of race discrimination. Leroy Buckner, 61, of Glasgow claimed in the suit that Roger Bryant II, the cook, shoved food down Bryant’s pants, 'placing plaintiff’s food on Bryant’s exposed genitals.'" [Bluegrass Politics]
  • "Work on one of Louisville’s first collaborative working spaces has been going on slowly for about a year, but the Ice Box Co Labs is ready to welcome creative professionals to their new space at 217 East Main Street in the Ice House Lofts building. Co-working space fosters a community-like space (that’s not a coffee shop!) that allows independent creative professionals and freelancers to gain access to amenities normally reserved for larger firms." [Broken Sidewalk]
  • "State officials have given up trying to reopen Kentucky Kingdom this year, but say that six potential operators have expressed interest in the park and that they expect to have at least a tentative deal with one of them by mid-summer."[Courier-Journal]
  • Yesterday TARC Executive Director Barry Barker admitted on WFPL's State of Affairs that TARC could do a better job serving the community. [The Edit]
