"The latest Rasmussen poll puts Republican Senate candidate Rand Paul at 49%, 8 points ahead of Democratic candidate Jack Conway, who has 41%." [WFPL]
"Within hours after the media began reporting Wednesday that University of Kentucky men’s basketball coach John Calipari would host a $1,000-a-person fund-raiser at his Lexington home for Gov. Steve Beshear, Calipari changed his mind." [Bluegrass Politics]
"Today Mayor Jerry Abramson unveiled improvements to the city’s website that his administration hopes will make it easier and faster for citizens to connect with Metro government services. The changes include an improved way to search the city’s site using the popular Google search engine, and offer options ranging from animal licensing, to garbage pickup and getting a police accident report. The web design is better organized than the previous version, and is now available in the seven most frequently spoken languages in Louisville." It’s a shame--but no surprise--that the outgoing Mayor Abramson’s image is all over this site, necessitating tax payers to shell out for a new site in just a few months when he’s out office. Regarding the new Rasmussen poll which has Rand Paul ahead of Jack Conway I would suspect Mitch McConnell might have conducted the poll. I wouldn't put too much faith in a Rasmussen poll!!
It seem the republican't are always ahead in Rasmussen.

I'm usually one who likes to criticize this mayor, but only on substantive issues.
Replacing an image around a site is child's play in terms of web development. It will hardly cost anything to accomplish.
