- "Former state Rep. Steve Nunn will stand trial for capital murder in August, according to a scheduling order released Monday by Fayette Circuit Judge Pamela Goodwine. Nunn, 57, is charged with murdering his 28-year-old ex-fiancee, Amanda Ross, outside her Lexington townhouse on Sept. 11, 2009, after a judge issued a domestic violence order telling him to stay away from her."
