Kelly's evil deeds
Archbishop Kelly was a disgrace. He was a drunk and drug addict, and had to check into rehab in 1996.
However, that was nothing compared to his hiding and promoting of pedophile priests.
As just one example, in his own memo, you can see how he protected a known pedophile and kept him in ministry, keeping the priest's child rape record secret from parents. The memo was also "confidential", but has since been made public http://www.bishop-accountability.org/docs/requested/1983_Kelly_CreaghMemos.htm
The priest, Fr Creagh, was give unrestricted access to children, and raped others afterwards.
