"Florence had added 6,400 residents in the past decade, according to the 2010 U.S. Census. Florence's 27 percent growth made it the seventh-fastest-growing city in Kentucky among municipalities with more than 10,000 residents...Like Florence, cities and towns within Kentucky's “golden triangle” of Louisville, Lexington and Cincinnati and near interstates were the fastest growing places in the state during the 2000s, the census shows."
