The bid requirements were updated this week to list the completion date as mid-July 2012 — as opposed to a reopening of around next April that officials announced last week." [Courier-Journal]
  • "The University of Louisville’s Tom Jurich is one of the highest-paid college athletic directors in the country, according to a survey by USA Today. Jurich, who has been at U of L since 1997, is guaranteed more than $1.4 million for the 2011-12 fiscal year, with the possibility of more through incentive-based bonuses.
