Starting today, the three stations of Louisville Public Media (89.3 WFPL, 90.5 WUOL, 91.9 WFPK) will begin fundraising on behalf of Partners in Health, which has served the health needs of Haiti’s poor for over 20 years. Stand with Haiti is a continuation of this support in direct response to the earthquake. On Sunday, Jan. 31, WFPK will solicit donations from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. via the web or by phone (502-814-6565). The day will culminate with a 4 p.m. WFPK broadcast performance by The Dick Sisto—Harry Pickens Duo in the LPM Performance Studio. The public can attend this first come, first seated show for a minimum donation of $10.00 at the door. The stations are accepting donations now for Partners in Health via Stand with Haiti's website.
