I'm late! I'm late! For a very important date!

Although the notice is short, the Derby City Movie Maniacs can't miss out on the surreal delight that will be Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland."

Bring your top hats or bunny ears, dress up as your favorite character from the book or movies, or show up as a confused bystander while everyone else brings the surreality.

There'll be pink bunny ears for people who can convince the Red Queen why they shouldn't lose their heads. If you survive, pick up a Long Island Iced Tea from the bar before playing tabletop croquet.

Contests include:

* Best hat
* Best Cheshire Smile
* Best card trick
* Late bunny race

As always, there'll be trivia and prizes galore. Come for the party, stay for the movie. The Derby City Movie Maniacs always know how to show you a good time.

Since showtimes aren't announced until the week of the movie, we'll be at the first showing after 9 pm. The party starts at 8, so get there early!

$15 in advance or $20 at the door. Price includes both the movie ticket and the party.
