Melillo's Closing

Print It is with a heavy heart that I tell you about yet another restaurant closing in Louisville. The casualty this time is Melillo’s, the Italian-American spot on East Market. In a posting to the Louisville Hotbytes forum the owner, Michele Melillo-Clem said “Melillo's has taken the hit from the economy, food costs, taxes, etc. and there is no one out there to bail us out, unfortunately. We will be closing our doors at the end of the year. Our regular business hours will remain through November and during the month of December we will be open for dinner only on Friday and Saturday evenings.” I strongly encourage you to get to Melillo’s while you can to chow down on some rice balls, fettuccine alfredo and cannoli. Melillo’s food has always been excellent and it will sorely missed.

Availability of the space

I know this is not the right thing to do when a friend is closing her business, I , on the other hand want to rent the space. But, I am interested and here is my number. 270 351 2009 and 502 240 8797 My name is Maria Bell and I want to open a Greek restaurant. Thank you.
