Sound fanatics and technology geeks unite! The Mickey Hart Band is set to take the stage Tuesday, April 10th at Headliner’s Music Hall. For those who don’t know, and for those of you who do, Mickey Hart is one of the modern geniuses in the drumming world. He was one-half of the percussion beating wizards behind the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, the Grateful Dead. What a long, strange trip it’s been for Mickey, as he masterminds a grouping of brilliant world musicians for his critically acclaimed solo project, Mysterum Tremendum.
The Mickey Hart band features a talented few. From vocalists, Tim Hockenberry and Crystal Monee Hall, who also nationally toured with the Tony Award winning musical “RENT” to bass player Dave Schools of Widespread Panic. The band will also feature Ian “Inkx” Herman, a famed South African house-drummer and Sikiru Adepoju, a masterful talking drum player, who also jammed with Mickey Hart in his Grammy Award winning Planet Drum project.
