Mike Linnig's Restaurant, a seafood eatery in southern Louisville, will host its seventh annual Hot Rod Cruise Night Saturday, Oct. 23, from 1 to 7 p.m.

Hot rod owners can register for the event for $15. Entrants will receive the 2011 Hot Rod Calendar and $12 worth of Mike Linnig's coupons.

Some of the awards the hot rods are eligible to win include Superior Interior, Coolest Convertible, Chrome King and Chick Magnet. Mike Linnig's will feature the winning hot rods in the 2012 Hot Rod Calendar.

Okolona Street Rods and the PRP Fire Department will sponsor the cruise night. Proceeds will benefit the WHAS Crusade for Children.

In case of rain, Hot Rod Cruise Night will take from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24.

Mike Linnig's Restaurant is located at 9308 Cane Run Road. The restaurant is currently in its 86th season of serving seafood to Louisville.
