As summer turns to fall, it’s the perfect time to join Music Theatre Louisville for the final show of the season, Oliver!, opening Friday, September 7th through Sunday, September 16th at 7:30 PM at the Iroquois Amphitheater. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Based on the Dicken’s classic novel Oliver Twist, Oliver tells the story of the young orphan whose life takes one difficult turn after another. Cast out of a grim situation in a <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />
With music by Lionel Bart, Oliver features such classics as "Food, Glorious Food", “Where is Love”, "As Long As He Needs Me" and "Consider Yourself"; it’s the perfect September event for the whole family!
Single tickets are $23.00 for adults, $17.50 for students (k-college) and seniors (60+), and $6.00 for children (5 and younger) and can be purchased one of four ways; by calling 589.4060, at the Iroquois Amphitheater box office, Ticketmaster.com or at any Ticketmaster outlet. All shows rain or shine. Starting September 4th - September 16th box office hours will be 12:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. (open until 8:00 p.m. on show dates).
