As summer turns to fall, it’s the perfect time to join Music Theatre Louisville for the final show of the season, Oliver!, opening Friday, September 7th through Sunday, September 16th at 7:30 PM at the Iroquois Amphitheater.

Based on the Dicken’s classic novel Oliver Twist, Oliver tells the story of the young orphan whose life takes one difficult turn after another. Cast out of a grim situation in a London workhouse, things become even harsher as Oliver is sold to an undertaker. After the boy runs away and is taken in by Fagin and his street gang of pickpockets. When Oliver is wrongly accused of stealing, he is taken home from court by kindly Mr. Brownlow and soon discovers that you can't always trust your "friends" …and that sometimes a stranger can help you find out who you really are.

With music by Lionel Bart, Oliver features such classics as "Food, Glorious Food", “Where is Love”, "As Long As He Needs Me" and "Consider Yourself"; it’s the perfect September event for the whole family!
