Multiple tornadoes hit Southern Indiana and Kentucky with many reports of deaths, injuries, and major destruction [News]

Multiple tornados hitting Southern Indiana twice and Kentucky with many reports

Writing from Greenville, IN this reporter could see both tornadoes that touched down and tracked from Palmyra, IN into Pekin, then on to Henryville, as well as into Madison then beyond. Reports of deaths, injuries, and major damage left in their wake. These storms were making their way towards the Louisville area with the storms traveling up to 70 mile per hour. Tornadoes are also being reported all around Kentucky as well.

It is reported that students were not in Henryville High School when the tornado hit the Indiana school, and heavy damage has been reported and rescue vehicles have been dispatched. Buses and cars destroyed. The town of Marysville is reported to be completely gone. Semi trucks have been reported as blown over on I-65. 14 found dead at last count across Indiana. The town of New Pekin has also had extensive destruction as well. Two adults and two children were found dead in the debris in New Pekin. The death toll continues to rise as search and rescue teams along with search and rescue dogs search through the rubble.

Right now heavy winds, rain, and hail are hitting Greenville, IN. as I am writing this. Greenville just got skirted by these tornadoes.

These tornadoes are reported as being some of the biggest to hit Kentuckiana. Hail has been hitting areas hit by the tornadoes reported as big as baseball size.
