Where To Go

Cinderella
Print this page

Less dancing than the Louisville Ballet performance, but still fun and lasts one week longer.  Mummers and Minstrels will present Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella beginning tomorrow.

Cinderella will take place on March 9, 10, 16, and 17 at 8 p.m. each night.  Matinee shows, meanwhile, are to happen March 11 and 18 at 2 p.m. each day.  All performances will go on at the Anchorage School, located at 11400 Ridge Road in the Anchorage section of Louisville.

Tickets for each show are $12 per adult, $10 for students, and $10 for senior citizens.  Tickets can be purchased at the door.

Mummers and Minstrels presents the Rodgers and Hammerstein version of Cinderella, which features a girl trying to find true love.  Her stepmother and stepsisters, however, hinder this quest by hiding her away and attempting to keep her from a palace ball.  It seems hopeless for Cinderella until her fairy godmother comes along.

Riley Morrisson portrays Cinderella, and Andrew McGill plays the Prince.  Other cast members incluude Rick O'Daniel-Munger, Liam O'Daniel-Munger, Jan Lowe, Amanda Kyle Lahti, Stacy Mullins, Cindy Smith, John Trueblood, Jack Lowe, Sarah Clark, and Todd Rogers.  Barbara O'Daniel directed the production while Elizabeth Huling provided musical direction.  Carol Berger Wellman will provide accompaniment.

More information on the show can be found at the Mummers and Minstrels website.
