Louisville's My Morning Jacket will reclaim the stage at Madison Square Garden on Dec 14 along with Band Of Horses. But you gotta hurry because MMJ sold out MSG on NYE in NYC in 2008. How bout that use of acronyms? So, anyway, an allotment of tickets are being offered to MMJ's email subscribers for today only (Sept 21). Regular ticket sales will be opened to the general public on Friday, September 23.

Coming off their May 31 release of Circuital, MMJ shows no sign of letting their momentum slide —  they're finishing up a busy summer season that has seen them grace the stages of Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits.

For their fall tour, they'll be accompanied by Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Delta Spirit and Band of Horses on select dates. They'll be playing coast-to-coast, from San Francisco to New York to Dallas, with even a stop in Boca Raton, Florida.

Yes, Boca.

Boca's good enough to stop by every now and then, right?

About Jason Ashcraft

Jason is a life-long Louisville native who grew up in the Highlands, and now resides in an undisclosed fortified location somewhere in Louisville. He's followed Louisville's rock music scene for almost 10 years, first as a concert promoter, then an artist manager, and now a music critic and reviewer. He's one crazy Jarhead who'll literally publish anything his mind conceives on impulse, so don't always expect him to follow the traditional laws of journalism. He has intent of reviving Hunter S. Thompson's “gonzo journalism” if only his editors will allow it...which they don't usually. Head over to LouisvilleScuttlebutt.com for more published rhetoric.
