The star of the NASCAR Nationwide Series is coming to town.

Monday, June 8th, from 3-7 pm, the Nationwide Insurance Showcar will be on display in the north parking lot of Westport Village. The display will also include the official racing trailer, simulator pod, interactive racing games, and a special drawing to win two free tickets to the Meijer 300 race at the Kentucky Speedway on Saturday, June 13th. The activities are family friendly, and feature additional give-aways of Westport Village coupons, such as $5 off a $25 dinner at MACCA’S Florida Seafood Grill & Bar, and free appetizer at Indigo Joe’s with purchase of a $20 dinner for two. “It’s a real honor to bring the Nationwide Showcar exhibit to town,” said Gerald Ditsler, owner Ditsler Insuance, Inc. “We’re looking forward to meeting lots of local NASCAR enthusiasts!”   The Ditsler agency has served the Louisville community for 30 years. In addition to Ditsler Insurance hosting the Showcar exhibit, Paul Davis Restoration insurance, will provide soft drinks, popcorn and bottled water.
