We are barely in 2011, but we’ve made it far enough to start officially putting 2010 to bed. Before you know it, you’ll be waking up on April 15th wondering where the time went and kicking yourself for procrastinating like your mom always did and like you swore you never would…
So it may be best to start thinking about tax prep now so you’ll be good and ready when your paperwork hits the mail next month.
United Crescent Hill Ministries is hoping to team with the national movement that calls itself Volunteer Income Tax Assistance to help lend a hand to folks in the neighborhood who make $49,000 or less and want to cut the cost associated with tax prep. The challenge is that to do so, UCHM needs to know for certain they have at least 8 dedicated volunteers to pull the whole thing off.
If you think you can help out, make this initiative a reality by putting your name on the list to help out. Call 574-1109 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
