Spring has sprung but the weather is still cold so why not look for a great canine pal to cuddle up with and keep you warm? We have some good candidates featured this week available for adoption at Metro Animal Services.

This young male Pit Bull dog hasn’t been given a name yet. He needs his own family who will give him his very own name. He is eligible for free obedience training at Slugger City Bully Buddies. If you are interested in giving this young guy a new leash on life have his Pet ID # A486313 handy when contacting Metro Animal Services about him.

Biscuit is a one year old male American Foxhound mix. He is neutered and ready to go home with his own family. Biscuit is a laid back hound who loves belly rubs. He is a great guy who needs his forever home. If you think you are the one to make him part of your family please have Biscuit’s Pet ID # A468995 handy when contacting Metro Animal Services about him.

Brownie is a small young female Beagle mix. She is already spayed and looking to go home with her new family. Look at that happy face on her. If you think Miss Brownie would fit in with your family please have this pretty girl’s Pet ID # A487687 handy when contacting Metro Animal Services about her.

Leo is a small 11 month old Dachshund/Labrador Retriever mix. He is already neutered and updated on his shots so ready to go home with that special someone. He is very intelligent and loves his belly rubs. Leo loves to learn new things so he would make someone a great companion to do things with. If you think little Leo would be a good match for you then have his Pet ID # A482454 ready when contacting Metro Animal Services about him.

Meet Gunther. He is a friendly guy who is a 2 year old dog of American Bulldog breeding. He is an owner surrender which means he has no hold time and will be at high risk of euthanasia. He is eligible for free dog obedience training at Slugger City Bully Buddies. Because he is a bigger dog weighing at 90 - 100 lbs he would be a great competitor at the Slugger City Bully Buddies weight pull meet-ups held on Sundays. He is good with other dogs and is neutered and ready to rock with his new family. If you want this big lovable boy please have his Pet ID # A487510 handy when contacting Louisville Metro Animal Services about him.

Metro Animal Services always has a big selection of adult cats and kittens to choose from so please go to their Petfinder website to check all of those out.
