The Voice-Tribune's New Year's Eve Soirée Louisville Marriott 280 W. Jefferson St. 9 p.m. Accent aigu denotes class. So even though theVoice-Tribune is promoting its event as "everyone's favorite time of year to let loose," you'll still probably want to wear pants. At least until midnight and the balls drop. Tickets are $125 and available online or by calling 502-897-8900. Ring in 2010 at 21c & Proof 21c Museum Hotel 700 W. Main St. 5:30 p.m. From 5:30 to 7 p.m., Proof is offering its à la carte menu. Then att 8 p.m. Chef Michael Paley is offering a pre-fixe tasting menu with four courses, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight for $121.21. Check out the menu at here. The braised local goat sounds delicious--assuming it's not Jim Bunning. And if you don't want to eat, but just kick it old school, head to the 21c Atrium Lounge ($31). For dinner reservations call 502-217-6360 and to reserve a room call 502-217-6300. Hambone BJ's 1400 Central Ave. 9 p.m. No need for me to describe Hambone again--just know that he's out there.
