Legally Blonde: The Musical will take place in Whitney Hall at the Kentucky Center for the Arts, located at 501 West Main Street in downtown Louisville.  The musical will take place on June 8, 9, and 10 at 7:30 p.m. each night.  One show will take place on June 11 at 8 p.m.  Two shows, meanwhile, will happen on June 12 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.  Closing day, June 13, performances will take place at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Tickets for the PNC Broadway Across America show will cost between $22.50 and $71.50 per person.  To purchase tickets, go to the Kentucky Center website, the box office, or call 502-584-7777.  More information about the show can be found also at the Kentucky Center website.

Legally Blonde:  The Musical features Elle Woods, a blonde Delta Nu sorority girl and recent graduate.  After her boyfriend dumps her, she goes on a mission to get him back.  That means attempting to get into Harvard Law School and learning about her own skills and qualities in the process, including never settling for no as an answer.

The musical is based on the movie of the same name, which was released in 2001.  Reese Witherspoon starred as Elle Woods, and Luke Wilson performed the role of Emmett.  The sequel, Legally Blonde 2: Red, White, and Blonde, was released in 2003, also starring Witherspoon.

Meanwhile, the live stage version was created by Neil Benjamin and Laurence O'Keefe, who created the music and lyrics, while Heather Lach created the book for the production.

The production at Kentucky Center will run approximately two and a half hours and is appropriate for anyone eight years of age and up.
