The award-winning musical, “OH MY GODMOTHER,” will run at Pandora Productions January 7-17, 2010. I’m reminded of the old Smucker’s commercials . . . with a title like that, it has to be good.
With a cast of characters featuring a homophobic stepmother, a drag-loving godmother, and a young adopted boy named Prince who might actually be, dare I say it, straight, “OH MY GODMOTHER” promises to be another outrageously funny performance from Pandora Productions.
For those of you who don’t know, Pandora Productions is a local theater company that was founded in 1995 to promote lesser-known shows that speak to the Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual, Transgender and Questioning community. “As Bees in Honey Drown” by Douglas Carter Beane will run March 11-21, 2010. “Pageant: The Musical” runs May 6-16, 2010. Showtimes are at 7:30 p.m. in the evenings, and 2 p.m. for matinees. For more information and to order tickets, visit http://pandoraprods.org/
