Stephen Sondheim's musical gets a different take when Pandora Productions presents Marry Me a Little starting Thursday.

Marry Me a Little takes place on June 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, and 28 at 7:30 p.m. each night. Matinees are on June 22 and 29 at 5:30 p.m. and June 28 at 2 p.m. All performances are to go on at the Henry Clay Theatre, located in the Henry Clay Building at 604 S. Third Street in Old Louisville.

Tickets for each show are $18 in advance and $20 at the door. All tickets can be purchased at the Pandora Productions website.

Marry Me a Little focuses on four single strangers who sing about their desires, fantasies, and their want for love. Although none of them have actually met, the four strangers live in apartments adjacent to each other. They may, however, play a role in each other's fantasies.

The original production of Marry Me a Little featured a young man and woman. In a diverse twist, however, Pandora's version will feature characters who are gay, lesbian, bi, and transgender.

Sondheim created the production, which features the cast of Ben Gierhart, Lauren McCombs, Deborah Hill, and Jordan Price.

Marry Me a Little is the last Pandora show for the 2013-14 season. Pandora will open its next season with My Big Gay Italian Funeral in September.
