Are you a parent struggling with teens whose problem behaviors are out of control? The New Albany-Floyd County Public Library is hosting Parenting Your Teenager on Sunday, March 8, 2009.
Join Midge Carney, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, who will be providing tips, ideas, and commentary about situations that parents face day-to-day while raising their teens. Ms. Carney will discuss the importance of becoming an active listener, being fair, using effective, timely discipline and modeling positive characteristics.The workshop will be held at the New Albany-Floyd County Public Library on Sunday, March 8, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Strassweg Auditorium on the lower level.
