This weekend, 102.3 The Max will be hosting their annual music event in honor of breast cancer awareness month. With proceeds benefiting the local chapter of Susan G. Komen, Pinktober will bring Five for Fighting, Walk Off the Earth, and American Authors to Louisville. Headliner John Ondrasik (Five for Fighting) is the driving force behind piano-based pop rock hits such as 100 Years, Superman (It's Not Easy), and The Riddle. Best known for covering famous pop songs on their YouTube channel, Walk Off the Earth will perform as well as American Authors, who the Lambert and Lindsey show claim to be the "next big thing."

Pinktober will take place at the Hard Rock Cafe on 4th Street Live on Friday, October 18th at 7pm. Doors will open at 6:30pm. All $30 tickets are sold out; however, 102.3 The Max still has a few to give away. Listen for your chance! More information can be found at themaxfm.com.

About Jenna Foster

Hi! My name is Jenna. I am a music teacher at a primary school. I love teaching because you get to feel like a rockstar without all the fuss of being famous. My hobbies include crafts, reading, playing and listening to music, going to concerts and plays, watching movies and television, eating out, shopping, collecting vintage clothes and records, decorating, planning parties, dancing, anything nerdy or geeky, and general mischief.
