Fables, carnage, and Damn Yankees are all part of IUS's 2013-14 theatre season.
During the season, IUS theatre will present three shows: Damn Yankees (November), God of Carnage (Feb.-Mar. 2014), and Indiucky (April 2014). All performances are to happen at IUS's Ogle Center, 4201 Grant Line Road in New Albany, IN.
Tickets for each show are $12 for adults, $6 for students, and $6 for senior citizens. Tickets will be available as each show opens.
IUS theatre will begin its season with Damn Yankees, featuring a middle-aged baseball fan who trades his soul to the devil in order to lead a team to the World Series. The classic will take place from November 7-17.
Heading into the new year, IUS will present God of Carnage, featuring two families and their playground-fighting kids. What starts out as a civilized discussion quickly devolves into something less, much less. God of Carnage will run Feb. 20- Mar. 3, 2014.
Finally, IUS will present a musical comedy original perfect for the Louisville area. Indiucky: Fables, Fairy Tales, and Folklore will include creative looks at local folklore, legends, politics, and the news. The original work runs Apr. 25-27.
More information on the season can be found at the IUS theatre website.
