The summer concert scene in Louisville just got spicier. It has been confirmed that the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS will be blasting into the KFC YUM Center on June 7. The "I’m With You" World Tour got off to rocky start after lead pepper, Anthony Kiedis fractured his foot.
The rescheduled tour will now begin on March 31st so Anthony can recover from surgery "to remove a crushed sesamoid bone and correct a detached flexor tendon in his foot.", according to a statement from the band's management. Tickets for the Louisville Show go on sale January 28th.
Although local ticket prices have not been released, tickets at other venues have ranged from $39 (plus fees) to $75 (plus fees) with some premium seats also be available.
This is to be a big year for the band, with the world tour and RHCP will be inducted in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame in April. Check back for more details and specifics as they become available.
