If you’ve been on the fence about registering for the Kentucky Derby miniMarathon or Marathon races, but haven’t pulled the trigger, here’s a little more motivation to get that done.
The registration price for both races goes up again on February 1. If you get your registration in by January 31, you’ll pay $70 per person for the miniMarathon and $80 per person for the Marathon. After February 1, the prices will rise to $75 and $85, respectively. And after March 31, they’ll go up to the final prices of $90 and $105, respectively.
Also keep in mind that only 18,000 runners will be allowed to register. If you’re going to do it, now is the time.
The races are Saturday, April 19, 2014. You can check out the Derby Festival Marathon site for all the details, follow #KDFMarathon on Twitter, and download the new Kentucky Derby Festival app so you’ll have all the info handy.
