is an 18th Century British comedy that pokes fun at manners. Sophistication and sentimental themes are given a very satirical look as characters such as Mrs. Malaprop, Lydia Languish, and Captain Absolute make their way through the town of Bath. Romance, a possible duel, and much wit are to be expected in a usually prim and proper town.
Richard Brinsley Sheridan created the production, and William P. Bradford directed it. The show is considered appropriate for those in grades eight and above. More information on the show can be found at the YPAS website.
