Shootings, coverups, and comedy, all in one play. Clarksville Little Theatre will present Neil Simon's Rumors beginning Friday.

Rumors performances will occur on Nov. 5, 6, 11, 12, and 13 at 8 p.m. each night. A matinne performance will take place on Nov. 7 at 2 p.m. All performances of Rumors will take place at Clarksville Little Theatre, located at 301 E. Montgomery Avenue in Clarksville, IN. Directions can be found at the bottom part of this website.

Tickets for the show are $15 for adults, $12 for students 13-18, $12 for seniors 60 and over, and $8 for children between six and 12 years of age. Tickets can be reserved by calling 812-283-6522. Tickets can also be purchased at the door with cash and check only.

In the Neil Simon-created Rumors, four well-off couples are invited to the home of New York City's deputy mayor to celebrate his and his wife's tenth anniversary. Unfortunately, the deputy mayor shot himself in the head, the hostess is not there, and there are no servants around either.

Comedy arises as the couples attempt to cover up everything that happened, including from the media and the police.

Following Rumors, Clarksville Little Theatre will present Once on This Island. Auditions for the show will take place Nov. 7 and 8.
