Bunbury's A Salvage Yard Christmas is the third in a series of Salvage Yard plays. In this production, the salvage yard gang has found out the property will be shut down and taken over by a factory chicken farm. However, that doesn't prevent them from remembering the good times there.
An added attraction is that many of the items used in the play will be available in a silent auction. Bids can be made by audience members at the end of each of the performances.
The cast includes Juergen K. Tossman, Mike Buremaster, Matt Orme, Mike Seely, Lauren Maxwell, Cathy Butler=Weathersby, Emily James, Mary Ann Johnson, Hannah Shelby, Alexandria Sweatt, Kristy Calman, and Bryanna Shelby. Tossman also wrote and directed the production.
Following Salvage Yard, Bunbury Theatre will present Romantic Fools. The production will showcase 12 character sketches dealing with the issues of love, romance, and many things that come along with both. Romantic Fools will run in February 2011. Other shows to come in the season are Crimes of the Heart and The Foreigner.
