The group, according to its website, trains and monitors volunteers, which in turn work as advocates for children who have been abused and are now in a family court situation.
The Tricky Part was created by Martin Moran, a sexual abuse survivor himself. In this one man show, the character's childhood and later years are examined as the issues of his life take hold, including desire, religion, and human trespass. The production earned an Obie Award in 2004.
The Necessary Theatre's Robert McFarland will perform the one-man show, which was directed by Laurene Scalf.
