Locust Grove Afternoon Lecture SeriesThe Locust Grove Afternoon Lecture Series is pleased to have Shelly Zegart, internationally known curator, author, and collector, present QUILTMAKING IN EARLY AMERICA at the March 4th Afternoon Lecture. Shelly Zegart was a founding director of The Kentucky Quilt Project (1981), the country's first statewide quilt documentation effort. Ms. Zegart will focus on the quilt's importance beginning in the early settlement of our country and will also describe her current research interests and projects.
Dessert and coffee served at 1:00 pm, lecture immediately following at 1:15 PM. Admission is $5, $3 for Friends of Historic Locust Grove. Reservations are not required.
