Wanting to break outside the normal gift giving slump for dad this Father’s Day? Think outside the box and go down to the Highlands neighborhood of Louisville and do a bit of shopping at WHY Louisville. This fun and locally owned shop is located at 1583 Bardstown Road. The store is full of items you can get for your dad that he will surely appreciate. The gifts from there always make my dad laugh and he actually wears the clothing I have purchased for him in past years.
Shirts are priced around $19.00 if your dad dresses casually. If your dad has a more conservative style, there are ties for $29.99. There are a variety of fun Louisville themed clothing and accessories, but my favorite for my dad is the “Biggest City on Earth” t-shirt by K Composite for $17.99. Another great find is the hardcover book titled “Historic Photos of Louisville”, which is $39.95. Its 216 pages of our city’s journey through Civil War, the Depression era, buildings, life, etc.
