Disguises, love, and a free show are all taking place tomorrow night at The Bard's Town when KY Shakespeare presents Taming of the Shrew.

Taming of the Shrew will take place for free tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. in The Bard's Town, located at 1801 Bardstown Road in the Highlands section of Louisville.  Seats are on a first come, first served basis and are limited, so arrive early.

Food will be available before and after the show, and beverages will be available during Taming of the Shrew.  The Bard's Town menu can be found here.

The Taming of the Shrew is a play within a play, with a "lord" (in reality, a local drunk) watches a production.  The production features Lucentio, who has fallen in love with the beautiful Bianca.  Hortensio and Gremio have done the same.

However, Bianca's father will not let anyone court Bianca until Katherine, Bianca's older sister, is courted.  This leads to pure comedy as all three potential suitors wear disguises and try to get closer to Bianca.

Although the show is free, donations are accepted and will go towards KY Shakespeare, which brings Shakespearean shows like Taming of the Shrew to area schools throughout the year.  It's KY Shakespeare Festival in Central Park begins June 7.
