The bandstand in Corydon will be filled with a Hayswood showcase tomorrow night featuring different styles of music, including a preview of the upcoming South Pacific.
The showcase will take place for free in the bandstand in downtown Corydon on the Corydon First State Capitol Historic Site lawn. Bring a lawn chair or blanket as there is very limited seating at the location, the corner of Beaver and Capitol Streets Performance time is 7 p.m.
Among the scheduled performers are the Sanders Family, an Elvis impersonator, and favorite songs from shows recently performed at Hayswood Theatre, including Hello Dolly and She Loves Me.
South Pacific will close out the night, as the cast will perform multiple songs from the show, including possibly Nothing Like a Dame, I'm in Love With a Wonderful Guy, and others.
The full-length production of South Pacific will go on July 13-29 at Hayswood Theatre. The show, starring Laura Van Fossen and Gary Crockett, will be $12 for adults and $10 for others. Ticket information can be found at the Hayswood Theatre website.
