Romeo and Juliet is one of Shakespeare's best known works, incorporating a love story of two star crossed lovers in the middle of a feud between two rival families. Romeo and Juliet begin their love affair in secrecy, but will they be able to keep it going with the surrounding war?
Alun Jones and Helen Starr provided choreography for Romeo and Juliet, and Sergei Prokofiev provided the music.
Following Romeo and Juliet, Louisville Ballet will present Breaking Ground, a mixed repertory program. That production will take place in April.
